this is the reworked version of my LCARS Logon Screen for Windows XP.
reworked means: resolution 1280x1024, redrawn all objects, new ufp logo, aand...
... notice the "DEVIANTART.COM" in the upper right.
i submitted a "in action" photo some time ago, which shows the Logon Screen on my notebook.
you can view the deviation here: [link]
i created the Logon Screen using StarDock LogonStudio. but its a very bad program for doing that.
i have also tried Chameleon XP but it has even less features than LogonStudio.
if somebody knows a really good tool to create XP Logons, please let me know.
That is freaking awesome. I have a LCARS interface fetish and this rounds out my themeset nicely. The only thing would be to not brand it with the DeviantArt name in the upper right. That kinda kills the "LCAR"ness of it.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
In response to new features: The dA community stands up to preserve itself and deviously denies further separation between general members and subscribers. Gift givers express dislike for violation of their privacy.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

I'm fairly indifferent for the text at the top, but having a website address does kind of kill the theme.

If nothing seems to be going wrong, you obviously don't know what the hell is happening.
